Questions
- Which AI clients work with it?
- Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, Codex, and any MCP client. Connector UIs (Claude, Grok, Cursor, Codex) sign in with OAuth. A config file sends an API key. Setup for every client is on /docs/mcp.
- Do I need an API key?
- OAuth clients do not. Claude, Grok, Cursor, and Codex sign in with OAuth. A config file sends Authorization: Bearer pz_... from a free account.
- What data is behind it?
- U.S. parcel, owner, permit, sales, valuation, hazard, and zoning data. Measured coverage is on /coverage. Field definitions are in /docs/v1/data-dictionary.
- Does it return owner names?
- Yes, with an account. Owner names and mailing addresses require an account (an API key, an MCP OAuth token, or a signed-in session) or a settled paid call. On the paid products (the dossier, lead feeds, verifying owner_name, tax status, and watch polls), a wallet or an X-CREDIT-TOKEN receives them once the x402 payment settles or the credit debit succeeds. A verified but unsettled payment delivers nothing. An unpaid caller without an account gets no people data. Owner-name lookups, the owner card, and list exports require an account.
